I made some things!

So my new friend Sarah from Improvidate got me a role in a short film she's in. A series of females talking to the camera like it's a guy they are speed dating on. It's hilarious and the other ladies in it, Sarah included, are great. Sarah used to be a casting director and she left it to pursue more acting. She's cool. We film on Monday.

Then I just found out that I got cast in "Tony n' Tina's Wedding" down at Piper's Alley! I start as a waiter next week. The director has the character I will eventually be playing in mind, but I haven't spoken to him. I have no idea who I'll be playing. I hope it's Tony.

Then I got a role in a little low-budget local commercial for some restaurant. I really hope it's one of those one's you see late night starring the resturant manager's daughter. I love those so much.

I'm up for video that pays $400 or $500 a day. Of course, that will be the one I don't get.

But I am grateful for everything. Chicago either has more comedic opportunities, or it's just easier to get stuff, I don't know. I do know that I'm loving it.

Rene and I are on vacation, in Pittsburgh now. Pictures to come. You can hardly wait.
